About CROMWELL FIELD/LOKER STADIUM

The practice field of the greatest university track & field program in history was significantly upgraded in 2001 with the completion of Loker Stadium, a 3,000-seat stadium area on one side of historic Cromwell Field. The field itself - home to the USC track & field program for decades and named for legendary coach Dean Cromwell (winner of 12 NCAA team titles) - features an eight-lane track. During the 1984 Olympic Games, it served as the training track at the USC Olympic Village and the warm-up track for the track & field competition.

Cromwell Field and Loker Stadium will host the Pac-10 Track & Field Championships in 2003.
