About Dedaux Field
Named for USC's legendary baseball coach - leader of 10 NCAA Championship teams - Dedeaux Field seats 1,800 for Trojan baseball games and other events. Designed by Grillian, Rosier & Alves of Santa Ana, it hosted the 1991 U.S. Olympic Festival baseball competition, was a training site for the 1984 Olympic Games athletes staying in the USC Olympic Village and has been the site of several MTV "Rock 'n Jock" celebrity softball games.

•The basics:
The natural grass field has a dirt infield and dimensions of 325 feet to left, 375 feet to the left-center power alley and 365 feet to the right-center power alley, 395 feet to centerfield and 335 to right field. There is seating 1,800 in comfortable aluminum seating, with backs.
•Location and parking:
The field is located near the corner of Vermont Street and Jefferson Boulevard. It is accessible from the Vermont Street off-ramp from the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
•Management:
Dedeaux Field is managed by the USC Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Inquiries concerning rentals should be directed to facilities manager Don Winston at (213) 740-4155 or by fax at (213) 740- 1306.
•Technical information:
The grass field has a dirt infield and warning track. It is lit for night play, at 82 footcandles in the infield and 71 footcandles in the outfield.
There are four locker rooms for the home team, visiting team, officials and an auxiliary locker facility. There is a press box at the back of the grandstand for 25-30 persons.
There are plenty of parking spaces around the facility on the campus. Spectator amenities include a ticket booth with two windows, two permanent concession stands (one on either baseline) and a 1994- installed, outfield scoreboard.
