Voting Open to the Public for LA Sports Awards
The Los Angeles Sports Council is asking the public's assistance in selecting the greatest moment in sports for 2017 in the Los Angeles/Orange County area.
The list of the Top 10 moments was determined by the LA Sports Council's Media Panel, and voting is now open on Survey Monkey. Voting is quick and easy, and takes less than a minute to complete. Voters are allowed to vote only once, but may select up to three moments from the list of 10 on the ballot. Voting will close on Friday, January 26 at 6PM PST.
The results of the voting will be revealed on February 6 at The Beverly Hilton during the 13th Annual L.A. Sports Award dinner and show, which will be taped and aired multiple times on Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket in the weeks following the dinner.
Note: The concept of a moment is loosely defined. It can be a specific instant in time (such as a winning goal, hit or shot), an individual or team milestone, an upset victory, a remarkable game, a special event, or a career achievement. Nominated moments must have taken place in the local area, or have involved a local athlete or team.
