ABOUT MATADOR GYMNASIUM
Known as the "Matadome," the Northridge home court opened on November 30, 1962. Upgraded as the university expanded, it now offers a 1997-installed scoreboard and backs on some bleacher seats. In addition to hosting CSUN athletic teams, it was also the site for a 1990 U.S. vs. Japan men's volleyball exhibition.
