About Memorial Stadium
The largest sports facility on the Whittier campus, Memorial Stadium seats 7,000 and includes an all-weather synthetic track. The field was named for Wallace "Chief" Newman in 1980 and the renovated track facility was recently named for long-time Poets coach Aubrey Bonham.
It is part of an expansive set of sports facilities that includes the Graham soccer and lacrosse field adjacent and just above Memorial Stadium, Graham Student Athletics Center (capacity 2,200). Slade Aquatics Center, Memorial Baseball Field, Palmer Softball Stadium and the Ettinger Tennis Courts.

There is seating for 7,000 surrounding the natural grass field and the all-weather track. The field is lit for night play.
•Location and parking:
The stadium is located near the intersection of Painter Avenue and Earlham Drive in the City of Whittier. It sits about three miles east of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway and can be accessed via the Whittier Boulevard exit.
•Management:

•Technical information:
The stadium floor is natural grass, surrounded by an all-weather track. There is lighting for night use.
The Track Pavilion provides satellite training room facilities, restrooms and equipment storage.
Spectator amenities include adjacent surface parking lots, an electronic scoreboard and permanent concessions.
