About Murdock Stadium
One of the well-known stadiums in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, El Camino College's Murdock Stadium has been a popular site for El Camino's own teams and for many soccer matches featuring local and international teams. It has also been the site for the 1991 U.S. Olympic Festival soccer competition.
The stadium is accompanied by a group of excellent support facilities, including an adjacent practice field, a 2,000-seat gymnasium (which held the 1991 U.S. Olympic Festival wrestling competition), a baseball field and tennis courts. It was named for the college's founding president, Forrest G. Murdock, who retired in 1958, soon after the facility opened.

•Location and parking:
El Camino College is located on Crenshaw Boulevard between Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach Boulevards. It is situated one mile east of the San Diego (405) Freeway; it can be accessed via the Redondo Beach or Crenshaw Boulevard exits.

•Technical information:
The stadium is horseshoe-shaped with an open end. The field is natural grass and the stands are close by since there is no track surrounding the field.
Locker rooms are available in the adjacent fieldhouse, which also includes sports medicine and training facilities. There are press boxes on both sides of the stadium, each seating 15-20. Spectator amenities include plenty of on-site parking with 2,500 spaces around the facility, a ticket office with six windows and two permanent concession stands. There is an electronic scoreboard.
