About the Pasadena Civic Auditorium
One of the most elegant structures in all of Southern California, the Pasadena Civic Auditorium hosts major events such as the Distinguished Speaker Series and the Pasadena Symphony. Executed in the Italian Renaissance style, it was refurbished in 1979 and renovated in 1997.

•The basics:
The Auditorium seats 3,000 with 1,991 on the floor (Orchestra) level and 1,009 in the balcony with a 75-foot ceiling height. The total stage area is 40 feet deep by 110 feet wide, also with a 75-foot ceiling.
The Auditorium is part of the Pasadena Convention Center, which also includes a 28,000 square-foot Conference Center, 55,000 square-foot Exhibit Hall and 25,000 square-foot Grand Ballroom.
•Location and parking:
The Pasadena Convention Center is located on East Green Street, one-half mile east of the Foothill (210) Freeway, accessed via the Marengo exit. The Center can also be approached via the Arroyo Parkway at the end of the Pasadena (110) Freeway, at Green Street. There is a 690-space parking structure on site and an additional 2,500 spaces within a one-block radius.
•Management:

•Technical information:
A classical theatre in shape, the Auditorium offers 3,000 seats as noted above. There are no locker rooms per se, but there are dressing rooms for theatrical production use. Load-in is accommodated through a drive-in door. Complete food service is offered in the Auditorium and there is the elegant 3,139 sq.ft. Gold Room within the Auditorium proper that is available for administrative or hospitality use.
There is a complete package of lighting and audio support for theatrical production, but no scoreboard.
